As a marketing agency based in SF, we generally work with global emerging and established brands. During the pandemic, among our usual client workload, we took on select businesses *gratis*. Normally retaining an agency like ours would be restrictive.
Our love for giving back to the community in normal times is at our core. We didn’t need Covid to push us in that direction, it did however serve as the impetus to give our services away in unlimited fashion to help and in some cases — from their mouths — save their business.
Inner Heat Yoga (IHY), an expansive wellness collective, had their doors closed for almost 13 months due to the pandemic. As the world began to reawaken, they needed a strategy to do the same. MKMCreative built an end-to-end program that encompassed core brand components — messaging map, clearly defined customer experience, upleveled creative and brand assets — that addressed multiple target constituencies. Through a phased approach, efforts focused on opening with plans for beyond. With the foundational infrastructure in place, success was achieved resulting in sold out classes, an uptick in sales across services and offerings, net new sign-ups and earned media.
