We had a communication scheduled for yesterday that has been in the works (obvi). The subject matter addressed our most commonly asked question, what do you do? In light of the present situation, it no longer feels right. It’s the brand running through our veins that brings us to that conclusion.
That said, we don’t want to go dark entirely. We’re consumer engagement specialists, which means connection is part of our makeup.
While death, disease, fear and a long list of other unpleasantries are a part of it all, we have lived enough life to know that it goes on. ProTip: it’s better to conduct it, as opposed to being coerced by it.
Brand experiences, live campaigns, events — whatever you call them — are being cancelled all over, some months in advance. We understand why, as these epic engagements take the proverbial blood, sweat, tears — we like to add and bone — of a huge crew of people dedicated to building and funding them.
Significant circumstances impact psyches, paychecks and can go as far as reshaping lives. While we’re aware of all those things, our camp remains steadfast with a positive attitude and headed in the direction we’re always going…forward and up.
After destruction comes creation. We’re looking forward to that part. Take a deep breath, pause and assess what you need to accomplish.
Perhaps in the present, as plans change, an objective third party point of view will serve as a respite to untangle and sort through the details.
